Yonsei Library’s Research Information Service and the University of Helsinki’s library concluded an MOU on June 4. The University of Helsinki is the oldest and largest university in Finland. In 2012, it was ranked 78th in the QS World University Rankings. The MOU will increase cooperation between the libraries of the two universities, especially in terms of digital information environments, the development and maintenance of state of the art library services, and the enhancement of professional skills in academic librarianship. Supporting Yonsei’s efforts to become a global university, the library’s Research Information Service continues to establish networks with great universities from around the world. With this MOU with the University of Finland, Yonsei hopes that the library will continue to expand its cooperative networks with universities throughout Europe.
