Professor Yeo In-hwan (Department of Physics, Yonsei University) and his research team developed new nano technology which integrates spatial resolution of nanometer and temporal resolution of nano second. The team’s recent finding has been published on the first week of August in a world-class scientific journal, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (IF 9.771). As the core of nano technology, spatial and temporal resolutions enable research on the property of atoms and molecules and measurement of time change as well. Professor Yeo’s team has developed nano technology that controls and measures energy transfer with nano second temporal resolution and scanning tunneling microscopes.
