Yonsei School of Business (YSB)’s Unique Donation Drive YSB has practiced its love and support for each other through the so-called “Class Gift” campaign. This campaign allowed alumni, graduating and entering classes to encourage one another through gifts-from alumni to graduating classes, and from graduating students to newly- admitted ones. Gift items were diverse; this year, the undergraduate freshmen received books that were recommended by their graduating upper classmen; and the newly-admitted students in the MBA, Master’s, and Doctoral programs were given ball-point pens with their names engraved. In addition, every graduating student of YSB received a name card case. A total of 289 undergraduate and graduate students participated in this year’s campaign by raising some 8.5 million won. Dean of YSB, Professor Sang Yong Park said, “As an institution founded by missionaries and philanthropists, Yonsei University has grown through love and sharing among its alumni. The ‘Class Gift’ campaign enables all of our students to love each other with action.”
