Successful Korean Language Instructor Training Program Since its relocation to Anaheim, CA, USA in April 2009, the Yonsei Korean Language Institute (KLI) has operated a Korean Language Instructor Training Program for the development of Korean language education in the United States. The program is supported not only by the university, but also Yonsei alumni in the United States. In particular, offices and classrooms are provided by Park Jun-hwan, alumni of Political Science and Diplomacy and President of California University of Management and Sciences. During the past 8 semesters, the Korean Language Instructor Training Program has certified 307 people who have come from different states, including Utah and North Carolina. Many facts have demonstrated the prestige and success of the program. Many directors of the major Korean language education institutes in Southern California are those who have completed the Yonsei Korean Language Instructor Training Program, and a number of Korean language institutes across the States inquire KLI to recommend teachers who have finished the program.
