Dedication Ceremony of the SK Global House On 19 March, the dedication ceremony of the SK Global House, a dormitory exclusively for international students, was carried out. For the ceremony, over 150 people, including Kim Han-joong (President of Yonsei University), Bang Woo-young (Chairman of the Yonsei University Foundation), Choi Jae-won (Vice Chairman of SK Corporation) and Park In-gu (Vice Chairman of Dongwon Group) gathered at the SK Global House. “Despite the fact that Yonsei carries out international exchange and cooperation programs with 604 universities from 59 countries, a shortage of accommodation had been a problem for many years.” In his speech, the President also remarked on the contribution of the SK Global House to Yonsei’s higher level of Globalization.
