Some of the interesting artifacts shown at the exhibition included a drawing of Korean funeral published in 1905 on a cover page of French traveler's magazine. Along with the drawing, Korean artifacts such as shroud, coffin, bowls and plates that are buried with the deceased were displayed. A Japanese funeral bier that held the body of the deceased in a sitting position was also displayed in the exhibition with other artifacts from other countries such as those of Hahn tribe from China and animal-shaped coffins from Ghana.
