1. Academic Exchange Agreement with Temple University Yonsei and Temple University signed an agreement on academic exchange on 10 June. Ann Weaver Hart, President of Temple University, and Hai-Lung Dai, Dean of College of Science and Technology, visited President Kim Han-Joong’s office to discuss more active academic exchange and to sign the agreement.. 2. Students from Washington University Took Courses in the College of Engineering Some 7 students and 3 professors from the Department of Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering in Washington University in St. Louis took educational program in the College of Engineering from the 1-12 June as a part of “International Summer Experience in Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering” program. Two undergraduate students from Washington also participated in internship program for two months under the guidance of professors in the college. The program was the first of its kind with Washington University. 3. Students from the School of Economics and UIC to Study in UC Berkeley Students from the School of Economics and UIC (Underwood International College) will participate in Berkeley Economics Semester Abroad Program in the Spring Semester of 2010. The program is offered only to students from globally recognized universities. Yonsei sends 15 students, as the second university in Korea to participate in the program following Seoul National University.
