The Office of External Affairs and Development is currently contacting alumni, parents, and faculty to raise funds to cover the expenses for the construction of the Yonsei-Samsuing Library. The categories are Hall of Fame, Family, Double-Y, and General. - Hall of Fame: 10,000 dollars - Family: 500 dollars per family member - Double-Y (alumni couples): 1,000 dollars - General: 500 dollars As of July 30, 495 Participants Donate 2.2 Million Dollars As of July 30, 495 people have contributed a total of 2.2 million dollars. Of these, 389 made donations to Yonsei for the first time. Many alumni members are participating in this fund-raising event in fond memory of their time at Yonsei, making their donations more meaningful. More Than Half of Hall of Fame Donations from Alumni In the Hall of Fame, for the largest donations, over 50 percent of the contributors are alumni members, indicating their strong interest in their alma mater. Costing a total of 60.5 million dollars, the Academy Information Center boasts top-class facilities that are considered to be among the very best in the world. The University still needs to raise seven million dollars, and the fund-raising, which had been planned to end in July, was extended for two more months until the end of September.
