A continual increase in the ratio between college size and successful candidates - Ranked 2nd in the nation On October 12th, it was announced that 122 students from Yonsei's College of Law (Dean Bok Ki-Hong) passed the second stage of the 48th Bar Examination. The number of students who passed increased compared to last year and accounted for 12.2% of all successful candidates. The number of Korea University students who passed decreased by 31 students, with an overall decreaseto 14.6%. When taking into regard the smaller class size at Yonsei University, the ratio between college size and successful candidates exceeds that of Korea University. Moreover, the number of students from Yonsei University who passed the bar exam has continuously increased over the past 8 years, having sharply increased since 2003. The gap with the 2nd ranking university has narrowed down to 2.4%, which brightens the future prospects of Yonsei's College of Law. Despite the comparatively poor circumstances and support, the College of Law's great leap forward was possible due to the sacrifice and warm affection of the professors and alumni. The University anticipates that the affection of the alumni will become even more enthusiastic as a result of this year's achievement, which has displayed Yonsei University College of Law's latent potential.
