Underwood Hall was built thanks to a generous donation from John T. Underwood to honor the legacy of Horace G. Underwood, Yonsei’s founder, and his younger brother. It is located in the very center of the Sinchon Campus, at the top of Baekyangro. The building consists of three stories and one underground level. Originally used by the College of Liberal Arts, today it serves as the university’s headquarters. Underwood Hall has been designated as an historic building and Korean cultural property.
