Oath-Taking Ceremony of Preliminary Dentists
On January 6, Yonsei University College of Dentistry in Seoul, South Korea, held an oath ceremony for preliminary dentists at Eun-Myeong Auditorium in Severance Hospital.
The third-year students of the regular course announced their start as preliminary dentists ahead of full-fledged clinical practices.
The oath ceremony was attended by the third-year regular course students, their families, as well as faculty staff of the College of Dentistry and the Dental Hospital, including Dean Kee-Joon Lee of the college and General Director Young Soo Jung of the hospital.
Dean Lee and General Director Jung awarded 63 students with name tags and white gowns on this day. They asked the students to engage in clinical practices with responsibility and ethical awareness as dentists. The College of Dentistry Parents' Association presented students with the personal protective equipment necessary for clinical activities. The head of the Examination Room for Students introduced the Examination Room for Students and emphasized the practice of infection control. After the ceremony, the participants moved to the Examination Room for Students and had time to tour the clinical education site. -
