Attended by 14 YouTube Creators from Yonsei University
On September 2, Yonsei University and the Yonsei University Alumni Association held the "Yonsei Creator Awards" at the Guest House of the President's Residence.
The event was organized as a venue for communication and exchange with creators from Yonsei University. Hosted by the Senior Vice President for Administration and Development Kim Dong Hoon of the university and President Yoo Kyung-sun of the alumni association, the event was attended by some of the well-known YouTube creators, including Kim Mi-kyung of MKTV (Composition, entered in 1983), Paik Jongwon of Paik's Cuisine (Social Work, entered in 1985), Donghoon Lee of Dr. Lee's Bone Story (Medicine, entered in 1991), Jeong Changwook of Handsome Changchang (Graduate School, entered in 1999), Na Hee-sun, also known as "DDotty" (Law, entered in 2005), Lee Shinhyuk of TIKITIK (Media & Communication, entered in 2013), Yoon Ji Young, also known as "MRCH" (Composition, entered in 2015), and the YonKo TV crew members.
"Yonsei University is also actively making efforts to incorporate education into new media," Senior Vice President Kim of Yonsei University said in a welcoming speech, "Today, as the university and alumni creators begin to communicate and understand each other, we will be able to find a collaboration point for win-win."
"It is an infinite honor to have a place for creators for the first time this year," President Yoo of the alumni association said in a congratulatory speech, "I hope this will be the first year for active collaboration among alumni creators and an opportunity for many world-famous alumni creators to come out."
As a surprise at the event, the "Yonsei Gold Button Awards" were awarded to three creators with more than one million subscribers.
Yonsei University will continue to make efforts to provide high-quality content through cooperation with alumni creators. -
