2014-2015 Winter Abroad at Yonsei

From December 29 through February 11, the 2014-2015 Winter Abroad at Yonsei (WAY) was held on the Sinchon Campus. Organized by the Division of International Education of the Office of International Affairs, the program provides international students an opportunity to take courses at Yonsei while earning credit at their home institutions. All courses are conducted in English, and some of this winter’s course titles included: “Strategic Management,” “Microeconomics,” and “Korean Development.” There were a number of other courses offered in the fields of Economics, Management, Humanities, and Social Sciences, along with Korean language and Taekwondo classes.  

The WAY program was established in 2013; since then, international students from forty-nine universities representing thirteen countries have taken part. WAY is composed of two separate three-week sessions, and students can earn between three and eight credits while experiencing Korean culture firsthand through a variety of activities and events.
