130th Anniversary Emblems Unveiled

Yonsei has revealed its commemorative 130th Anniversary Emblems. The first emblem displays a blue- and gold-colored eagle flying skyward against a white backdrop. The Yonsei blue and gold were chosen to emphasize Yonsei’s proud tradition and history as well as its bright future. The other emblem, designed to convey a festive mood, features the number 130 in Yonsei blue, with a silver and white-trimmed banner running beneath it. The 130th Anniversary Committee first convened March 31, 2014, and after four meetings, the final designs were approved on January 22 of this year. Yonsei has sent the emblems to the Korean Intellectual Property Office and is currently waiting for them to be officially registered.
