On March 21, the Yonsei College of Dentistry signed an MOU with Osaka University’s College of Dentistry to pursue joint research projects, co-host symposiums, and allow for more student and faculty exchanges. After the signing ceremony in Seo Byoung In Hall, a joint symposium was held at which three Yonsei professors and three professors from the Japanese university gave presentations on the current state of research in the field of dentistry.
The two dentistry colleges have been sharing academic research for many years, and this MOU is expected to lead to further advances in research and teaching for both schools. Osaka University is well-known internationally for its high-quality education and research, and according to the most recent QS World University Rankings, the university ranks 3rd in Japan and 55th worldwide.
