Yonsei University and the Ministry of Education held a workshop entitled “Creative Talents for Creative Economics” on May 27 at the Yonsei International Campus (YIC). The workshop participants included Minister Seo Nam-soo, Head of the Office of Planning and Coordination Seong Sam-je, Yonsei President Jeong Kap-young, and the Dean of Yonsei’s University College, Choi Kang-sik. At the workshop, they discussed current trends in creative economics, ways to foster and support creativity and talent at institutions of higher education, as well as methods for improving university competitiveness. Prior to the workshop, Minister Seo toured the International Campus, saying: “I was able to see the possibilities that the new environment and facilities are creating for students. The residential college system, in particular, is fascinating and impressive. Yonsei, with its foresight and dynamism, continues to enhance its status as a leading university.”
