2012 Graduation Ceremony The 2012 Graduation Ceremony was held across Sinchon Campus, including the Departments, General Graduate School, and Professional Graduate Schools. A total of 5,252 Yonseians were granted a degree, including 3,161 bachelors, 1,779 masters and 312 doctorates (at Sinchon Campus, Seoul). Yonsei President Jeong Kap-Young attended several graduation ceremonies – College of Music at Yoon Joo-young Hall at 10am, General Graduate School at the Main Auditorium at 11:30 am and Graduate School of Communication & Arts at Widang Hall at 4pm – and congratulated students on their graduation. In a congratulatory speech, President Jeong said, “We set goals and work towards them. To play the role of guiding the way to the goal and leading by example depends on an intelligent mind. Yonseians with the intelligence fostered at Yonsei have the ability to carry out this responsibility.” He emphasized, “It is your duty.” He encouraged graduates to take on new challenges with confidence.
