Undergraduate students, professors, and all faculty members of Yonsei University College of Pharmacy participated in a briquette-delivery volunteer work on October 29th in Incheon Dongu Manseokdong. This volunteer activity was initiated as a part of "Holistic Education," an undergraduate prerequisite course tied to local communities. The volunteers donated 1,500 briquettes to the Incheon Yontan Bank and hand-delivered 150~200 briquettes to families in need and senior citizens living alone. Dean Ahn Young-su emphasized the importance of service leadership and love for one's neighbors, hoping that the volunteership was a meaningful experience for the student. The College will continue its involvement in volunteer work in order to strengthen ties with the local area and for educational purposes.
