The Volunteer Coordinator of Yonsei's Volunteer Center held a special event in front of the Main Library on November 3rd, selling jeans to students of Yonsei who have defected from North Korea. During the event, which was co-hosted by "Beautiful Store," high-quality jeans sponsored by Levi's Jeans were sold for ten thousand won. About forty volunteers from various places and twenty moms from the Christian Parents Association as well as undergraduate students helped displaying the jeans by their sizes and selling them. Through this event, hundreds of new and old jeans have met their owners. 50% of sales profit, which amounts to 2.7 million won, will be given to North Korean defector students of Yonsei as scholarships.
