Three global scholars visited Yonsei to present their invited lectures. On October 10th, a presentation entitled ‘The Debate between Body and Soul in T. S. Eliot’s Poetry’ was delivered by Professor Jewel S. Brooker, English Literature at Eckerd College. On the 13th, Professor Peter Paik, the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, presented his lecture: ‘Accidental Mastery: The Fate of Self-Overcoming in Mass Democracy’. And, on the 19th, Professor Nicholas Groom, University of Birmingham, gave his lecture titled ‘Corpus Perspectives on Turn-Taking Patterns in University Seminar Discussions’.
