On November 30th, members of the Yonsei University Sinchon Area Supporting Association gathered with Yonsei students and faculty at Hyungjae Galbi for the presentation ceremony of the Sinchon Area Supporting Association Scholarship. As a group of 130 store-owners in the Sinchon area near Yonsei University, the Sinchon Area Supporting Association has delivered scholarships to over 180 Yonsei students over the past 17 years. This year, a total of 30 million won were presented as scholarships to the following 10 Yonsei students—Kim Su-min (French Language & Literature), Park Sang-eon (Economics), Cha Su-jeong (Business), Yu Sang-hyeok (Physics), Jang Su-ho (Mechanical Engineering), Park Dong-hyeon (Biotechnology), Kang Bo-mi (Theology), Cho Yun-ji (Cultural Anthropology), Park Chang-ik (Law), and Kang Seung-yeon (Underwood International College).
