[INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS] Yonsei and Harvard Co-Host the ‘HPAIR 2011 Asia Conference’

Yonsei has been appointed to co-host the ‘HPAIR 2011 Asia Conference’ in August next year. For four nights and five days, 500 participants and 120 guest speakers will attend the conference at Yonsei University and Coex in Korea. The author of Justice: What’s the right thing to do? and professor at Harvard University, Michael Sandel is going to be one of the special speakers. This conference is jointly organized by the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) and student-run organizations in Asian countries. As one of the largest international university student conferences, the first conference was held in Taiwan in 1992. For its 20th anniversary next year, the HPAIR 2011 Asia Conference will address significant issues on the politics, economics, society, and culture in the Asian-Pacific region with worldwide scholars and CEOs from various fields, over 100 renowned speakers, and 400 undergraduate and graduate students from global universities.
