The Corporate MBA program in the Graduate School of Business at Yonsei University was listed in the 2010 Financial Times’ global ranking of Executive MBA (EMBA) programs. In the ranking, the Corporate MBA of Yonsei came in 71st place, and it is the first MBA program in Korea to be ranked in Financial Times’ top 100 EMBA ranking. Other Asian countries which have been listed in the top 100 include China, Taiwan, and Singapore. The Financial Times, one the world’s three most influential daily newspapers, publishes its ranking of top 100 EMBA programs every year. While the ranking of full-time MBA is reported every January, the recent release was the ranking of part-time MBA programs. The Financial Times’ ranking of MBA programs evaluates a number of indexes, including the average alumni salary three years after graduation, salary increase and career progress. Professor Park Sang-yong, Dean of the Graduate School of Business, said, “Yonsei’s MBA program has just begun to yield the results of long effort towards innovative curriculum development and global educational environment. And this is just a beginning—Yonsei will continue to carry out its plan to advance in the world’s top 30 MBA programs.
