Children’s Science Camp, Child Development Research Institute “I can move that robot’s arm from here!” Children at the Yonsei da Vinci Training Center exclaimed with joy when they used the latest da Vinci robotic surgery equipment, putting pieces of chocolate into cups. From July 22 to 29, three sessions of Children’s Science Camp was held by the Child Development Research Institute of Yonsei University. This year, 268 first and second-grade elementary students participated in the camp activities, including ‘The secret in jelly’, ‘Meet robots’ and ‘Magic of light.’ These young children were assisted by about 60 Yonsei students who received training from the Child Development Research Institute so as to work as science assistant, children manager, management assistant and volunteers.
