2009 Yon-Ko Games Yonsei and Korea University, the most famous and historic rival universities in Korea, ended 2009 Yon-Ko Games in tie. Featuring five matches in baseball, basketball, ice hockey, rugby and soccer, the two universities took two matches each. Yonsei defeated Korea in basketball with a score of 74-58, Escaping from the losing streak for four consecutive years. The rugby team made a draw with 18-18. They had defeated Korea with 13-12 last year. In the soccer match, Yonsei was defeated with a close score of 2-1, with its captain Lee Hyun-woong scoring one goal in the second half of the match.
