The Yonsei University Library has opened two new collections, one featuring faculty members’ publications and another where students can access textbooks and reference books for core courses. Located in the Humanities and Social Sciences Collections on the fourth floor of the Central Library, the Professors’ Publication Corner is intended to promote faculty-authored books and make them readily accessible to Yonsei Students. (Law-related publications are located inside the Law Library on the sixth floor of the Yonsei-Samsung Library.)  

The collection of textbooks, reference books, and lectures for core undergraduate and major courses is to be found on the first floor of the Yonsei-Samsung Library at the U-Lounge Service Center.  This collection was created at the request of Yonsei students, and it will allow them to more effectively prepare for exams and complete other assignments.  Books in this collection are only available for short-term checkout; students can have the texts for up to twenty-four hours, and there is a 100 won per-day penalty for late returns.
