Yonsei signs MOU for Dual Degree in Business with ESSEC
-First Agreement at Undergraduate Level
-Five Students to Receive Dual Degree Each Year
The Yonsei School of Business (YSB) has signed an MOU with ESSEC Business School in France to offer an undergraduate dual degree program. Under the agreement, each school can send up to five students per year to the other university. Upon fulfilling their requirements, participating students will receive a degree from both institutions. YSB students will be eligible to go to ESSEC following the completion of their fifth semester; while in France, they are required to take thirty credits (or sixty ECTS credits) over the course of two semesters. Students must also write a thesis and complete an internship as part of the program.
This is the first time that Yonsei has signed a dual degree agreement for undergraduate students. ESSEC is accredited by AACSB and EQUIS, and last year it was ranked the top business school in France for undergraduates by the French weekly Le Point.
Of the MOU, YSB Dean Kim Dong-hoon said: “Yonsei University has been cooperating with many French universities for a long time. Thanks to such efforts, we were able to offer this dual degree program. This program will be a great opportunity for students who intend to work globally.”
