  • Criteria: Outstanding grades in the previous semester


    • Application

  • Application period: End of June, End of December

    Apply by going to the Yonsei Portal Service –> Tuition and Payment –> Scholarships –> University-awarded scholarships (Wonju) during the application period

    • Payment: Reduced semester tuition

    • Scholarship standard

  • Applicants must have taken at least 12 credits and have a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.3 scale) or higher to be considered for the scholarship. Scholarships will be granted in the order of merit.

    Students in the College of Government & Business must receive a TOEIC score of 600 or higher in order to be selected. Students must submit an English test score certificate to the Office of the College of Government & Business (Jeongui Hall Room 305) during the application period. Students can submit scores from mock TOEIC, TOEIC Speaking, iBT, TEPS, IELTS, and OPIc tests. Students who fail to submit an English test score will not be considered for the scholarship. Refer to the College of Government & Business website (wgb.yonsei.ac.kr) for detailed requirements.

    Students returning to school after a leave of absence must apply during the application period in order to be selected as a scholarship recipient. Students may apply for this scholarship during their leave of absence.

    Students must complete the application during the application period even if their credits and grades have not yet been finalized.

    ※ Students in the Wonju College of Medicine, including the Medical School, Nursing School, Department of Dental Hygiene, are not eligible to receive this scholarship.

    ※ If submitted information or documents prove to be false, students may receive disadvantage during their enrollment, such as being required to refund the amount of the scholarship

  • Between one-third and full tuition waiver for one semester

    ※ The amount is not decided by merit but by each department’s scholarship planning process

    ※ Students may apply for the scholarship again in the semester following the semester for which they received the award
