Programs

Exchange Student Program (ESP)

Exchange students are those who are nominated by an overseas university under bilateral exchange agreement.
Exchange Student Program candidates can apply through the International Office of their home university.
Tuition is paid to the home university, and in most cases the application and documentation fee is waived.

Global Village Program (GVP)

Global Village program is an immersion program for students to live with exchange students from English speaking countries, China and Japan in dormitories and improve their linguistic skills through mutual language exchange. The program also enables students to have a first-hand contact with foreigners to learn about each other’s cultures and customs

Visiting Student Program (VSP)

It is a program that allows international students to earn credits by enjoying and sharing the same experiences with other Yonsei University MIRAE Campus students while living on campus.

This program is for those from partner universities which have a mutual agreement with Yonsei and wish to study at Yonsei in excess of the number of exchange students or those from non-partner universities and wish to study at Yonsei with self-nomination.

Unlike the exchange student program, this visiting student program is a fee-paying program. (Students shall pay tuition at Yonsei University MIRAE Campus.)

Korean Language Program (KLP)

The program, Korean Language Program (KLP) is designed for foreign nationals or overseas Koreans who want to learn Korean language from the bottom up and then enter a undergraduate or graduate school in Korea, or to improve the language proficiency for their business or employment.

It includes various opportunities for cultural experience as well as academic courses, which will naturally make you accustomed to Korean culture. As it runs four semesters a year (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter), you can choose to begin your studies when it is most convenient for you.

The classes are divided into six levels ranging from 1 to 6 depending on the level of your language proficiency. So the placement test will be offered for freshmen to determine their appropriate level.
