COVID-19 Notice

Yonsei’s Response to Confirmed COVID-19 Case [College of Music building] 2020.11.19

In response to a Yonsei student testing positive for COVID-19, Yonsei University informs the corresponding travel log and measures as follows.


1. A Yonsei student was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, November 18, at around 11:00 am.


2. The student’s on-campus travel log is as follows.

  - Thursday, November 12 (1:00-2:00 pm): Visited a practice room in the College of Music building

  - Thursday, November 12 (2:00 pm): Visited a different practice room in the College of Music building

  - Friday, November 13 (3:00 pm): Visited a practice room in the College of Music building


3. The university closed and disinfected relevant spaces in cooperation with the disease control authorities and is currently conducting all necessary measures, such as checking close contact cases and advising Yonsei members to work from home.   


4. Also, in response to the government's decision to elevate to Social Distancing Level 1.5 and the increasing number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on campus, Yonsei University has announced strengthened measures to all university members (including stricter building entry restriction and temperature-checking measures, converting classes online/non-face-to-face, and guidelines for infection control measures).   


5.University members are advised to pay special attention to preventive measures such as temperature-checking. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, please get tested at a screening clinic near you.


6. We request your continued cooperation as we fight to end COVID-19 and vanguard the safety of the members of the Yonsei community.
