Yonsei’s Response to Confirmed COVID-19 Case [Engineering Research Park] 2020.11.18: Sinchon/International Office of University Planning & Development

In response to a confirmed COVID-19 case at Engineering Research Park, Yonsei University informs the corresponding travel log and measures as follows.

1. An employee of a company located in the Engineering Research Park building tested positive on Tuesday, November 11, at around 9:00 am.

2. The employee’s detailed travel log is as follows.

A. Thursday, November 12
- 5:00 pm: Visited Central Library

B. Friday, November 13
- 8:30-11:30 am: Worked at office in Engineering Research Park (including bathroom breaks)
- 11:30 am-12:40 pm: Lunch at Student Union Building
- 12:40-4:00 pm: Worked at office in Engineering Research Park (including bathroom breaks)
- 4:00-6:00 pm: Resided at 2F lobby and table area of Engineering Research Park

3. The university closed and disinfected relevant spaces in cooperation with the disease control authorities and is currently conducting all necessary measures, such as checking close contact cases and advising Yonsei members to work from home.

4. University members are advised to pay special attention to preventive measures such as temperature-checking. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, please get tested at a screening clinic near you.

5. We request your continued cooperation as we fight to end COVID-19 and vanguard the safety of the members of the Yonsei community.
