Information Window Service for International Students Launched on September 15

Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, established the "Global Service Desk," a one-stop service window for international students, at the Global Lounge in the Commons. The service was launched on September 15.

Yonsei University conducts various programs to attract excellent international talents and strengthen their stable initial settlement and living support to foster future talents. The new Global Service Desk was promoted as part of the University Innovation Support Project.

The Global Service Desk is a one-stop help desk for international students and is installed at the Global Lounge in the Commons, which has excellent accessibility in the center of the campus. International students can receive face-to-face counseling services in English and Chinese through the desk, making accessing various information on and off campus easier and simpler.

In addition, online services are also strengthened by opening a new website (
https://gosc.yonsei.ac.kr) and social media to provide more diverse channels for international Yonseians to obtain information.

"With the opening of the Global Service Desk, we plan to strengthen international student services and actively support international students to grow into excellent future talents through various programs in the future," said Professor Kim Donghun, Vice President for International Affairs.
