Reflecting the Strong Reputations of Universities, with Yonsei as the 73rd in the World
Image from ShutterstockSeoul, the capital of South Korea, has been ranked "second best city in the world" in the QS Best Student Cities Rankings 2023.
The global university evaluation agency QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) annually evaluates the cities around the world for studying abroad, considering affordability, desirability, and the opinions of current university students. In the latest 2023 rankings announced on June 29, 2022, 110 cities worldwide were investigated. Seoul scored 95.1 out of 100 and ranked in joint second place along with München (Munich), after London at the top. Seoul's high position and constant rise in recent years reflected the strong reputation of universities among domestic and international employers, including Yonsei University as the 73rd best university in the world in the latest QS World University Rankings 2023.
